This online exhibition features highlights from the physical exhibition currently on display at the Boston University School of Theology Library. We celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Woman's Foreign Missionary Society, the founding of this mission organization supported the work of women in foreign lands beginning in 1869. Its members would later form Women's Society of Christian Service which gave birth to today's branches of the United Methodist Women organizations.
